What's the easiest, cheapest way to convert to a manual steering rack?

I removed the PS pump and lines and looped the lines on the steering rack and left it half filled with fluid...works great and I hardly notice the absence of the PS...Plus you free up a LOT of room removing the pump assembly...

But don't forget to either make a spacer for where the PS pulley used to be or just keep using the pulley until you get a spacer made...

Has anyone attempted this method, looks like the way to go. No way for the rack to seize.
