I want to buy a boost controller but I dont know which one to get.. I really dont want to spend over $100 for it, but somewhere close would be fine. What else would you guys recomend getting along with a boost controller?

i have the turbo xs dual stage boost controller that lets u switch to hi or low boost whith a switch that u would hav to install in the cockpit...i really like it and it's pretty easy to install..I got mine used from one of my buddies i don't think they're that expensive but i don't think they're cheaper than $100 bucks...and if u don't have a boost gauge yet i would recomend installing that first since the stock boost gauge is not accurate..good luck bro..:thumb:

Honestly, most MBC's are very similar in how they work. Your best bet is a ball/spring type MBC rather than a bleeder type valve. I have a Slow Boy Racing MBC that I got for $50, and I've never had a problem with it.

If you are looking to get an MBC for really cheap, I suggest you just build your own. DIY MBC

You need an aftermarket boost gauge. The stock/factory boost gauge is NOT accurate and should not be relied upon.

Hey i can say that i've got 2 MBC! One is a VOO DOO off of EBAY and it worked Fine for me for about 7 months and then the other one i got is a TurboXS MBC. I was given the TURBOXS MBC from a friend. I Just got in my Greddy Profec B Electronic Boost Controller TODAY. So i'm syked up to go install it tonight when it gets alittle cooler outside. So yes the MBC off ebay will work fine. I Payed $25shipped for mine!!

JoeP IL :thumb: , their cheep $45 shipped, very compact, hold boost great, don't need tools to adjust & stay in place once set. Plus Joe gives great customer service. You must have a proper aftermarket boost gauge to install a MBC.

Yeah I have the JoeP MBC, but mine is all brass.

it's $40, and that's still too high for a brass valve if you ask me.

That one that Pitbullowner2 pointed us too is only $11, and I see others for $7.
If it's ball and spring type valve ....I'd say go for it!

And that's what I'm talking about!.......
You should NEVER have to pay more that $50 for a good MBC. It's just a stinkin valve!
These days I would not pay any more than $30 ...and that's for a quality valve

Just Stay Away from the Bleeder types valves.
....Make sure its a ball, and spring type

i got a turbo xs high performance boost controller off Mach V motor sports for $135 and it works great and looks good. it was also a breeze to install and easy to tune the boost ## running. make sure u get a boost guage so u can dial it in properly.

Thanks for asking this question. Always wanted to know, but you know how most people put down a lot of the stuff from Ebay. Im off to buy a VooDoo boost controller also.
