got some more work done to the Talon..... i should be able to put the transmission in some time tonight, unless i end up with a mad cleaning bug. i don't think it will be much of a problem though, the plan is to swap over to AWD sometime in the beginning of next year (as soon as i get the tax return back). so i don't see myself doing a hole lot of work to clean something up that i am just going to pull back out in a couple of months. other than that i am going to put the FWD suspension in the car for now, shocks and springs included, a previous owner did a really crappy coil over conversion. he ruined a perfectly good KYB shock by not putting a upper spring perch on it, now the shaft is bent and it leaks (i hope the rear AGX's are OK). the AWD parts are nasty dirty and missing most of the boots, so i am thinking it would be a good chance to get everything cleaned and replaced (that includes the rear end parts i have from when i bought everything to do the AWD conversion to the Eclipse). the goal is urethane bushings and all new ball joints on the spare parts then swap everything over, at the latest when the AWD transmission goes in.... we will see how that goes.

seems like the more work i do to this talon the more glad i am that i have the eclipse in the garage. but the biggest complaint i have is i have to many things going on at the same time...............

you know i was going to sell the GST exhaust.... but it looks like someone took the factory exhaust, removed the cat, welded in a straight pipe, and welded on an aftermarket muffler, so i am thinking why cant i cut the GST system down and make it work with the AWD.....

guess i still need to work on house breaking my parts......
