MAFT tuning hell

Going round & round with this myself. A/T ECU w/450cc's. 3"gm & 14b w/ wahl 190 as well. So very similar setup. I'm set AUX=0 (1g), Base=2 (450), w/idle at +20%. difficult to dial in.

After a while i got sick of the maft, so i ditched it and used those funds for link, the wideband really helped though once i got it.

After a few hundred miles and some adjustments I've got the m trim down to 107 and h trim down to 105.

Idle is still being a pain. +30% on the maft and the l trim is still at 118%. Ughhh.

I also did a quick 1-2 pull and got 15 counts of knock and could feel the car pull timing. She's also been recording 4 counts randomly while lightly accelerating to get up to speed.

Added a notch of fuel at wot. I hope this cures my wot knock and my part throttle knock!

Alright. With the added fuel I got down to 3 counts of knock.

I have the boost set to ~14. Spikes to 16 and levels off.

Now I am logging 96% idc and it's misfiring (bogging from being too rich) throughout the power band.

I'm wondering if I have a boost leak because as we've pointed out 16 psi should NOT be maxing out my 550s.

Alright I will have to get an air tank and do a BLT. I tried doing one with my bicycle pump and got fed up and quit. LOL. I'll pick up those cheapo air tanks from harbor freight.
