MAF pipe size for 2g Spyder

Hi guys first post to the forums and I'm a little confused with the size for my MAF coupler.

I'm looking to get a universal k&n intake for my 1999 spyder GS 2.4L (i've heard theres not a lot of great options) and some people in the forums are saying that its 3" and some people have mentioned that its 4" diameter.

I'm not a heavy tuner, just bolt-ons, the car came with a magnaflow axleback exhaust so I'm just trying to help it breathe a little better than stock.

I'm looking for something basic, like this:

3 Inch K&N w/MAF Adaptor
