When my car is off the MAF in DSMLink shows 19.1 hz, shouldn't it be 0?

I unplugged the MAF and it still showed 19.1. By the way I have a GM MAF with MAFT all zeroed out.

That's what I thought but I kind of stumped why it doesn't change when I unplug it and it doesn't move from 19.1 till the cast is started. Then it will seem a little high like around 65 hz at idle.

I wish I had an answer for you but that does seem odd. Just so you have a comparison, I am at 37-45hz at idle.

Perhaps your maf is bad? Do you have a different one you can test on?

kinda of sorta had the same issue with my MAP sensor for my SD setup. it was reading intake pressure with the car off. my issue was it wasn't getting proper voltage cause i tapped into the wrong wires. Something to look into

I tryed a different gm maf and still same thing 19.1 hz, anybody else have this problem ever?

I just noticed on my oem 2G MAF its at 10lbs/hr engine off according to my ECUplus EMS...:ohdamn:

I hope someone pops in here with some more info because I'll be going the GM MAF route this summer..

Just got myself DSMLink V3 full and I read 17.9hz when off... Perhaps this is normal?
