MAF - Blow Through

I have my MAF set up in blow through, which I heard isnt good because im venting my 1g bov into atmosphere, most likely making me pull timing and lose power. Not to mention that I currently do not have an intake on my 16g so its sucking in a lot of hot air. I am looking to invest in an intake so that I can vent the bov back into the intake, would I be fine by just venting the bov back into the intake, or would I actually have to do something else with the maf?

If you're running your MAFT in a blow through configuration, venting your BOV to the atmosphere has zero effect on timing or power.

I was looking to get a Forced Performance intake with a bov return and a kone filter, would it be ok for me to run a hose from the bov back into the intake? or would I have to take it off of blowthrough

Obviously you didn't read the last person to post to you. If you have a GM MAFT in Blow-Thru configuration then venting to the atmosphere has no adverse affects, however if you keep running your MAFT in blow-thru and you decide to recirc you're going to have unmetered air going into your intake, causing you to run lean. Switch back to a 2g MAS if you're going to recirc since one of the reasons people run blow-thru MAFT is to vent.
