Low idle, press gas pedal to start

I've searched and haven't been able to find anything.

When I go to start my car, it will crank but only start if I press the gas pedal. It warms up normally and then when warmed up, the rpms drop to about 700. When I try to start the car when warm, I still need to press the gas to start it. It drives perfectly fine no stuttering or anything but when I come to a stop it will idle low. The car is a 97 tsi awd

I also have code p1105 which is the fuel pressure solenoid. Ive cleaned the terminals and hoses and cleared the code but came back.

You could try bypassing the solenoid, see if it still has trouble starting. Otherwise I'd be checking the IAC and the FIAV, followed by checking for vacuum leaks.

Deft sounds fuel or air related check for bad vac lines or a leaky biss as we'll as ur fuel filter and injectors had my 3 cylinder injector crack a bit where it sprays made my car run like a a pos civic haha but she's fixed and is back to eating v techs
