So, just a question.

For those that have replaced thier upper and lower ic pipes with metal, did you notice the turbo get a little louder? I figured it would, but I want to double check.

Yeah I can hear my turbo spool alot louder. Im hoping even louder when I change the Injen intake out for the FP.

Nice. Thanks for the info. I took the radio out of it and this was the first time driving since changing everything. You notice alot of noises when the radio is gone/off.

You'll have a very large increase in noise if you switch to metal pre-turbo intake piping and/or a more open filter like your typical K&N cone filter. Results in a very loud and yet satisfying sound for any turbo owner :)

If the sounds is as good as you guys are talking about it's probably worth the $250 for just that, ha.

It is definately louder :) Now I just wish I would have upgraded my sidemount when doing it.

All metal is a nice sound I have to admit.

I've always heard it louder, and after the fmic I had surge that would shake the car :D

I love the metal piping the turbo has this nice lil sound similar to a semi haha. Its fun to get it spooling next to those dodge cumming an chev duramax cause they look over an stare at this little car making the same sound there large truck makes.

the sound did get louder for me expecailly under overpasses. people break their necks when they look at my car its so loud.

LOL i love spooling beside big trucks and seeing their reactions....and on my trip to MN from SC, there was a big tunnel....OMGggg it was the highlight of the entie trip haha
