loud fuel pump

[1990AWD talon]

This just started recently. In the morning its fine normal noise.
But in the afternoon when I start up the car the fuel pump Wallbro 255, its very loud,
A whistling, whiney sound. I checked the fuel pressure and its at idle around 25-27. The last owner told me it should be at idle around 37-38. The pump was recently installed by previous owner, and he said he could hear the pump before but it wasn't ever too loud.
Car is at 17 lbs boost. Anyone with any suggestions on how to quiet the pump?

david here jeff I talked to kenny about it and it sounds to me like your fuel pump problem is the walbro death whine if you want you can bring it over to my house and we can swap in my spare walbro and see if that'll take care of it for yah. call me if yah want 3087216

I would get a rewire kit before you install the new pump. It will help with the life

in my oppinion a rewire kit is over rated for a daily driver
