loss of boost

k well i need to know why my turbo feels like it is leaking.....i went through my gears tonight....not flooring it but getting into the higher rpm range...and i noticed that when i reach about 4500-5000 or so i can feel a slight deacceleration and almost sounds like my turbo blowin off with out me letting off the gas....like air is leaking.....i dont know what it is could someone help me?

Did you do a boost leak test? Try the search on that you will get a link to go to www.vfaq.com and there is a boost leak tester that you can build. Sounds like that to me.

Probably a boost leak, i know the same feeling. Do a boost leak check, or make sure your intercooler piping is on good. Sometimes when i gt into higher RPMs, my coupler from my UICP and intercooler slightly comes off on one side. So i need to get a larger coupler.

hey...yeah i did a test and i blew a TB gasket...so im fixing that tomorrow....i tried that site and i couldnt find how to make one...i would like to know how tho....but thanks for the help....

It's there under intake. Someone give him the link, I don't know how to disable the frame at vfaq.

i went up to the shop i go to and the guy did a boost check....like what you all were talking about.....man it was a pain to fix too.....
