my alternator recently went out, so i changed it and it still wouldnt run. so i checked my alt fuse and it was blown so i replace it. now i can jump start it and it runs for a couple minutes then everything dims out and the car dies. i dont know what to do, any suggestions?

Well if you got a new alternator, then the next thing I would think is that your battery is going too. That's what happened to mine anyways

Charge the battery. After charging it you should measure 12.6v at the battery before starting and between 13.8 and 14.4 volts with the car running.

If you don't see that sort of charging voltage either the alternator is bad or the fuse is blown again.
If your battery doesn't hold 12.6v after charging and resting then it's bad.
