Looking at a 1g fwd TSI tomorrow what to look for?

Im thinking about guying a 1g TSI fwd what are some things I need to look out for. The car is modded with a fmi and a 50 trim and other bolt ons. Its a stock 6bolt bottom end with a new timing belt, water pump, tensioner. Im new to dsm's and I am not sure what to listen or look for.

As the wiseman stated check that link and follow it. The most important thing is probably the compression test. It wouldnt hurt to take a small floor jack with you and jack the front of the car up to check the front end of the car.jack under the body so the suspension hangs a full droop and grab the wheel at 9 and 3 oclock and give it a wiggle then do the same at 12 and 6 oclock.Thats about all I can offer because that link gives some very good advice as to what to look for. It if has a 4g63t under the hood, run like hell. Seriously though, read the list of stuff provided and I always like to drive it around for at least an hour, make sure the t-stat opens, give it long enough to get nice and warm to see if it has cooling issues, clutch issues, etc.
Compressions tests are a must, if the guy gives ya crap about it, odds are there's a reason he's doing so. Another thing I like to do is look in the hatch, lift up the carpet and take a peek, this sometimes gives you an idea of how it was maintained. Best of luck to ya and hope you drive away boosting

I just got back from looking at it it does have a clutch issue but he told me that and he is going to put a new one in it a act 2600. I think im pretty sure I am going to get it the car is fast it will beat my ss camaro. On the pass side the door hit the fender is the only issue with the body I might see about adjusting the door up and see if that helps. Also the windows roll up kind of slow he said the tracks just need greased and there is some kind of adjustment. Any one know more about fixing those 2 things? It doesnt have a/c which will suck for the summer tho soo yeh but its deffenetly fast.

Another thing is it dont have a/c on it and ide really like to get that going by summer. He said he has most the parts but it might be missing a line is it a pain to install all that on these cars or is it pretty easy to get to?
