Looking a 97 Eclipse Turbo

I am looking at a 97 Eclipse Spyder GST with the 4G63 6 bolt motor it does need new main bearing but is there anything that i should look for that goes wrong specifically on these cars any help would really be appreciated.

see if the previous owner kept up with maintenance, check if the bov is recirculated, did the owner say how many miles is on the 6 bolt? how many miles is on the chassis? since its a spyder, check if the top operates correctly, check to see if it leaks, theres a crap load of stuff you need to check, i'll let the experts tell you what else to check =) good luck though

Thanks i know to check the basics like leaking and burning oil or running rich. and no the owner didnt say how many miles are on each but i was basically looking for is there anything to look at in particular with this kind of car.
