This is my fiberglass box in the works.....still sanding :thumbdown

I had to make a new floor out of plywood. I covered it in carpet and the box fits down in it.
I didn't have very much room to mount the 2 amps and cap, so I am trying to build an amp rack.

what do you think so far????

More pics to come

looks like if i busted your rear window, i could take your sub and amps, just playing, i don't try that stuff... I just don't ever want to do anything myself anymore.... GOOD WORK!

So far so good! keep up the sanding :laugh:
it looks nice so far, I just hope you don't need to carry any cargo.

Out of curiousity, what did you use for cloth?... a beach towel?

Interesting design, keep the pics coming.

Wow. Good job. How will you finish the box (carpet, paint, etc)? That looks really cool so far. :thumb:

Well, I have been sanding in the driveway fro about 6 hourd today. Looking better, but still lotsa work. >>>I used a fleece bed sheet to cover it before the top layers of glass. It's really heavy too. I did not do 9-12 layers (like some people recommend). I have about 4 layers of pretty thick fiberglass matte and I can jump up and down on the box without a problem. I am gonna paint it with the dupli color mystic paint. Red to purple to blue in the sunlight!!! I am going to carpet the amp rack black just like the flooring around the sub box. I have been working on this for about 3 weeks now :cry:
I'll post more pics tomorrow---->

nice setup i like the way u keep the spare intact
most get rid of it when building a trunk box
never know when youll need your spare :thumb:
