I have just bought a new set of 3 blue anodized strut bars from Meganracing.com, and they are beautiful!!! I already have the Front upper and Rear upper, but where does the rear lower one go? I know it obviously say "Rear Lower," but where? I put it on a lift, and I couldnt find any posts or supports for it? They told me part of the chassis has a latch of some sort, I looked, so where is it? Thanks... :talon:

What is "post bumping"? I see guys do this all the time here, answering and asking more questions. Arent you the one that badgered me on motor mounts? You tried to dime me out and what not. I was going to ask if anyone had pics or something about it. And also, where can I see the clearance for this? I dont want to bottom out and rip it to pieces either. I am also assuming with all my other suspension mods, I will have understeer galore.

"No bumping threads (replying to your thread for the sole purpose of moving it to the top of the forum for more exposure). If your question doesn't get answered, it's either because you didn't provide enough info, your profile isn't filled in, or you asked a question that was already answered in our FAQ forum. "

Thread bumping is is posting a reply in order to raise the thread's profile by returning it to the top of the list of active threads. This is also called "necroposting". Thread bumping, which in its most open form is simply a post consisting of the word "bump", is commonly considered a breach of netiquette and some moderated forums forbid it (this included dsmtuners.com). Users may get around that by posting what is ostensibly a genuine reply. It may take the form of a trivial question or response such as "Anyone?", rather than using the word "bump" which makes clear their intention.

5 of the first 6 posts were yours, and that is almost going to be a situation where bumping is involved. In your case, post numbers 2, 5, and 6 were all considered bumps. If you have any other questions regarding thread bumping, please PM me so this does not have to continue throughout the thread.

If you consider correcting your statement, badgering..... :|

Whoa, hold up! I am not trying to get more posts or whatever this bump crap you all are talking about. The search button doesnt work on this site, it still says errors and gives me what I dont want on it. I am being serious, look at the times on my posts, I am not bumping, they are clearly like 3 hours or more apart. That is plenty of time for others to "bump down" my thread or whatever you call it. I am being serious here, I just want a little help on all of this. And you guys keep leaving comments for me to keep posting... It's not like I said,"how do I change my tires," or something redundant like that WTF ... :talon:

I am not trying to push anyones buttons or get on anyones nerves. It is true, he accused me of bumping or whatever. Look at my times on my posts, they are like 3 hours or more in lag. I am still searching on a write up of this. If not, I will make one when I do it and contribute to the site on the DIY strut bar. Why warnings? I have read all of the rules, and I am not violating anything. I found what I am looking for, so there, close this thing before someone says something they'll regret..... :talon:

Did you even look at the thread that I posted?

And if you found what you were looking for, please be kind enough to post what you found since you started a thread about it.

Thank you.

Yes I did, it was garbage. It was from 2002, over 4 years ago, and it had no real detailed pics or anything really explaining on how or what to do it with. I will share it when I make a new DIY. I will be sure to take pics and give a detailed description about this. I cant believe after all this trial and error, this has never been brought up before.... oh well...

Damn, I tried to help you, did a search for 20 minutes and give you a link and you call it garbage? :notgood:

Some people... :toobad:

I saw that as well. Basically it was just to show him exactly where it was supposed to go. I'm not sure how the megan bars are designed, but it may be a case where it won't even work on his car.

Okay guys, Like I said before, I didnt want to fly off the handle like that, my bad. But I wasnt critiquing your work for finding the link, but the link itself wasnt helpful. THanks anyway though. Megan Racings strut bars look the same as that one does, well, the rear lower one does. Yes, I do have an AWD, but I can make it fit, trust me. Thanks again... :talon:

Hey did you ever get that lower tie bar in? I can't seem to find any that will fit an AWD...

Also in one of the posts that were linked above, someone mentioned that a lower rear tie bar isn't needed saying something along the lines that the AWD's are already designed with one... is this true people?
