So I have a 1g and the interior lights don't come on when the doors open but come on when I open my hatch I haven't really checked the fuses but I was think the lights wouldn't come on when I opens the hatch if it was a fuse? Any suggestions.

Sounds like your door switches in the door jamb are dirty/need cleaned/replaced. I'm not sure about a 1g where they are but it should be a simple fix if thats it.
