I am not getting any interior lights turning on when I open my doors, only when I pop the hatch.

I have check the door pin things and they are like new, I have tried to use a paper clip and complete the circut with no change.

All my other lights work, including my dash lights etc like normal.

My dimmer is working as well.

When I lock and unlock my car via the keyless I dont hear any beeps, but I do see the two lights on the rear view mirror light up.

YES I have checked and re checked every fuse!

I am wondering if there is a relay under the dash somewhere that controls the light function past the door pins.

WOW! LOL, SO I figured it out. The door pin on the driver-side for whatever reason had a small piece of black tape on the back of it. After looking at how it worked by taking it apart and looking it up I found that the door pin is grounded to the chassis with the screw that holds it on. The electrical tape that was on the back of the door pin was stopping this from happening...A PIECE OF TAPE . So I removed the tape, and you guessed it! They all work now!

Thanks but I have already read the tread, there is a couple main differences.

He has a dome light and or a dome light issue. I have neither

He is not getting any voltage at the door pin, I am.

While are issue are similar in that one or more of our interior lights don't work we have having complete separate symptoms.

I am curious as weather or not there is a relay under the dash that controls the door pins circut, because when the hatch is popped they turn on but with either door they do not.

Also I have check the voltage supply and all fuse's etc, The previous owner had a alarm but it is no longer working with cut wires at the horn part. Also when I unlock and lock the car I do not have a beep or any noise other than the review mirror lights coming on and the doors locking.

I am wondering if there is a relay of sorts, or a wiring circuit in which the alarm is related etc.

If you don't already have one..pick up a factory service manual . .I got mine on ebay for like $10. It has two volumes and one is specific for the electrical. The other is chassis, engine, and body. . definitely worth the money as it will show you your wiring diagrams and relay locations. :thumb:

or in the meantime..i came across someone on here who had posted a link to an online chiltons

to sign in just put a michigan drivers license number in it ...anything such as "a1234567890" will work.. just make sure it's a letter and 10 numbers. :) :thumb:
