light ticking from under the car

hllo.. I own a 1995 talon fwd turbo and the other day while my car was at idle i was standing in front of it and could hear a light ticking coming from under the car and if i put my head under the car near the front bumper and I can hear the light ticking sound coming from under the car/engine. Any idea as to what it could be or if it is anything I should be worried about? Thanks

More detail. Is it coming from one side or the other, or in the front. Just to let you Know my transmission has a tick in it when it is sitting at idle
