I have some reground cams from Mutiny Racewerx (no longer in business).

The lifter noise in my car is louder than ordinary. I want to try installing shims on the Hydrualic Lash Adjusters. How do I go about installing the right shim thickness if I do not know the grind profile of my cams?

Hoping to find the information soon as this is early Sunday and I'm just aching for a project today.

Thanks.

We don't have shims on the lifters. They are hydraulic and automatically adjust. After using the search function, it seems the only solution to lifter noise is to replace them with the 3G version lifters.

You shouldn’t really need to shim the lifters with re-ground cams since there should be only a few thou of material removed (ground) which should be picked up by the lifter’s range.
You probably need a set of Revised lifters in there.
