Turbonetics evolution wastegate spring shims

I installed the red spring wich equals to 9psi and I also installed 7 shims + the plate that hold the spring in place. This is the maximum # of spacers I could fit in for the spring holder to stay in place.
The instructions do not make it clear how much boost will increase by adding a certain # of shims (2-3 shims = 1psi)???????
I want to strictly use the wastegate at about 18psi with no boost controller. I don't care about multiple boost levels.

Has anybody put in the seven shims? How much boost did this action increased?
Is there a stifer spring I could use, maybe 16-18 psi and where can I buy it?
I already mailed this same question to turbonetics and I also called them at (805) 581-0333 with no reply at all.

I finally got my car going once again thank god.
After not having a hit on this subject I figured the least I could do was to post my results.

As I stated previously I have installed a 9 psi spring and a total of 7 shims, wich is the maximum number that can be safely be installed without having to modify the wastegate cover. The result was 0.85 bar = 12.328207731 pound/square inch

I guess the instructions were right on the money 2-3 shims = 1psi

My boost gauge was reading a little over .85 bar. I got on line and found the following conversion calculater at
