Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

A buddy of mine gave me some nice 18" Giovanni rims for all the time I've spent working on his srt-4. They looked sick on his srt but I was curious if it would just look to big and goofy on a Dsm.
Ive never had anything other then gst or gsx rims on my dsm's. When I think 18" rims I think it's huge. I'm huge into Dsm/ honda's. I've never put anything bigger then 16" rims on a Honda. Just for the fact that anything bigger would look ridiculous to me.

So let's see some pics of ## dsm's with 18" rims!
Thanks.

Look at my car's pics in the gallery.

18" X 7.5" rims with 225/40/18 tires, also have Tokico Illumina shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Finally I also have installed Road Race Engineering's Rear Camber Correction kit - see link below - scroll down on the page under the section 2G camber correction: Road Race Engineering's Eclipse Suspension Upgrades

I did have to slightly roll in the rear fenders as I had a slight rub if I cornered hard to the right.

99gst_racer do you leave those rims and tires on when you go to the strip? or im not sure if you venture to woodward at all...havent seen the car there anyways.....i guess what i am getting at is anyone with 18s have any issues with traction or maybe a weight issue that slows the car down? obviously a car has to have the kind of power to even spin all four (awd) or for you fwd guys do you have any problems with traction?

I'm unsure of the tire size or brand. They do look very similar to blackGSX2g's though.

On my awd with Eibach struts with Drop Zone springs. They rubbed some on the rear and quite a bit on the front but this is my fault. If I were to raise it a little bit I bet they would be fine.

hello,

i think there's no wrong whether your rims are 18" nor 16" and i think they look cool on his car. they don't look big. trust me they are cool.

Darren
