ok there is a wire that was spliced into my injector/coil wire harness it had a resistor and i believe a small capacitor on it but the wire goes no where so i removed it. can anyone tell me what this was for at one point. it was spliced to a blue wire i believe with red or yellow dashes. any help would be great.

also just as a side note my car is running lean (white build up on plugs) and a friend said just to put bigger red top (i believe) injectors in. he wants to trade for my stock ones. should i do this?? and iv done boost leak tests but for some reason i cant get any boost to show on the gauge ( yes the key is on) do i need to do something with i heard 30 atdc for the valves so me say to do this and others just leave this out ?!?!?!? i know i have a very small leak from the biss but other then that i think im good. any ideas???

my cars pretty much stock as far as the motor just a bigger side mount intercooler( custom :) ) and the filter adapter oh and greddy type r bov ( intake pipes are custom no leaks rite now)
i have replaced the fuel filter and the plugs and the car has an apxei n1 cat back and 3 inch down pipe thats it

THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS

That sounds like the radio interference thing. It helps the radio have less static. It should be grounded to the intake manifold.

hmmm i would agree but this wire was put on half ass with electrical tap like some one put it there for something and then forgot about it. know what i mean it defiantly was not from the factory the way it was

thats it

it's the jump wire for the flux capasitor....some jerk just stole it before the car was sold...LOL!!
Agreed, not stock and not needed. My car was hacked up but this is pretty bad.
And, as far as the injectors, try a fuel pressure regulator (if not already done). I've found it a PITA to tune with bigger injectors, but that's just my opinion.

Does the car have a remote start system?? Dive under the driver side dash and take a look....If it does it may be a tach signal wire for the R/S system (usaully spliced into an injector wire or a wire at the coil)
