My friends and I go all the time, we are definitely going this coming Saturday (Nov 5). For those of you that know me and Steve, we drive GSTs that we work on ourselves, our friends will be with us, an RSX-S, Prelude, 350Z, G35. If any of you guys are going, hope to see you there this weekend. We will be rolling in around 3:30-4pm.

You also have to pay 20 bucks cash to get in to race, 10 bucks to watch (not sure).

Need long sleeves and long pants, helmet. You can rent their helmet if you don't have one. It's cheap.

Oldman, it'll be an honor to meet you. :thumb:

i think it 3-5 dollars and your license as a deposit to rent a helmet and if your bring your own helmet make sure its dot approved before bringing it, because they won't let you race if its not.

yeah ill def go, just let me know when guys, hey maybe ill even race my little baby, im hopin i might be able to hit 18's, ROFL

Tomorrow is not good for me, my last weekend to get the Talon running. If not, it will probably get torn down for a strocker rebuilt in the winter. Join us next Sat at Etown, it's like right next to you anyway. :thumb:

Good thing you posted, I was going to bring my bicycle helmet. ROFL So where can I find these helmets at?

Btw, I tried to put on my dp today before going to the track, and I failed horribly. In addition, it made us late so by the time we got there, they were closed. (I thought the track was open to 10pm [thats what it says on the website] but we got there at 4 and they were closing down?) So, what I need help is... how the hell do you remove the bolts connecting the cat to the catback? My shit is so rusted, all me and my friend were able to do was break it, but it would not unbolt.

Air tools.

Ok, now what about for those people who are poor and only have wrenches? We managed to break the nut and bolt loose, so now all it does is spin...
Cut the nut off with a dremmel and replace with a new bolt/nut/washers from Depot (~$1/$2 for SS).

If Bruce gets his car (DSM) running :p I'll stop up :dsm:

Hey guys did we ever decide on what time to meet??

I had to order a new rim today. This past Saturday I was driving down Hoes Lane, if any of you know where that is, and I hit a huge pot hole in the right lane. Needless to say, my passenger side rim took the brunt of that collision and lost. :sosad: The rim not only bent but broke right at the lip. If the new one doesn't come in before this Saturday I'll be running on the stock swirlies.

I would assume in the morning right when the track opens.

How does 10 o'clock wound? I don't think I have woken up earlier than that on a Saturday in a few years. :)

BTW any of you willing to lend me you 2G mas for 15 mins, I need to eliminate the mas as a possible source of my problem.

My crew was plannig on rolling in 9am, as soon as the track opened... so that probably means we'll actually be there at 10am or so.

and I don't see why you couldn't borrow my MAF for a couple minutes...

as long as nothing big comes up i'm good to go anytime, i don't mind waking up early once a year. Did any of you guys from the meet want to meet up somewhere and all drive down together? We could meet back up at the mall or bruces bus. if he doesn't mind

10 o'clock sounds to me. I know if you get there too late they won't let you race, but too late is around twelve.

Bruce, I'll let you use my 2g mas if you'd like.

I planned on meeting up at the track and maybe hang out and get something to eat after the meet.

I say we meet at East Brunswick mall (Ryders Lane side lot by Macy's) at around 9:30 am and we can take the trip down 18 together. It'll allow us to park by each other and save the trouble of finding everyone when we get there.

well i think im gonna try to be there by 9 am sharp im gonna head out with 2 of my non dsm friends....

does anyone by chance have a 2g mas harness lying around they wanna get rid of? im picking up a s16g and a 2g mas this week for 200 :thumb: probally wont be on the car till after the hollidays tho when i have injectors safc datta loger and pump

Meeting at 9:30 at EB mall sounds good. If anyone else wants to meet us there too that's fine. If anyone wants to leave earlier then we'll just meet you at the track.

^^^ i will most likely be in on this, as long as i find out where this mall is

I'm running some logs tomorrow and hopefully I won't need the mas, I'll pm you if I need it, maybe we can leak test your car while you're over. :thumb: I'm also in on the 9:30 mall idea, we should start a sub list.

A leak test on my car would be a good idea since I never did one before. I don't remember how to get to your house though. You'll have to pm directions.

Would anyone be willing to bring a battery powered dremel and help me install my dp while we're there? :D

Or even a few days before maybe... if anyone would be willing to let me near their house/garage and help me install my dp? :sneaky:
