Koni shocks installation problem

Hello, I bought some used koni yellows for me 2g fwd. After I took off the old shocks I tried putting the together the new one but the dust cover, top bushing with the metal sleeve, and metal plate do not seem to fit. :thumbdown I was able to open up the dust cover but the other parts do not fit. The shock and the threads seems to be a tad bit bigger. The old top nuts do not fit, but did come with new ones. Were the konis suppose to come with more new pieces or did the guy send me konis for a different car? Please help!

Konis have larger diameter shafts than average; you need to relieve the bumpstop cup and the isolator bushing stop washer to accomodate the larger diameter. Konis come with a set of thin-wall large ID spacers tubes for the isolator bushings - if yours did not, you need to have a chat with your suplier. If you can't get the the correct spacer tubes I suggest you call Koni - they're very helpful usually.
