Edmonton,
-1st off, I can't get my dattalogger to work, my computer doesn't have a serial cable and other computer's I've tried it on won't recognize the palm hotsync. (After the Palm pilot dies, you loose the pocketlogger software and have to re-upload it.)
-My dsmchips ecu chip has the original boost guage converted to a knock sensor.
-I replaced my TPS with a brand new unit about 4 weeks ago.
3 weeks ago I installed my walbro 255lph fuel pump, and with some road tuning got it to work very well, would pull hard all the way to 6500RPM with no knock. In the last few days, it has been knocking very bad above 3500RPM at WOT, and above 4500RPM the car will spudder violently. I upped the fuel on my AFC, and it makes it worse, less knock, but spudders even worse.
When I had the car running well, the AFC was about -15 from 3500-7000RPM, and it worked fine, now it runs WAY to lean, and bucks/spudders a lot.
I am going to do a boost leak test tomorrow, but does anyone have any other ideas what could be going on? It has been very warm here the last few days(90-95deg F), which is the only outside variable that has changed.
I wish my datalogger would work, but it seems to be a lost cause, I even bought a serial to usb cable, but the computer still won't recognize the logger.
Any help would be apreciated.
