Knock Sensor code, Only 7psi

I recently had to have my head rebuilt. I am new to DSMs and I didn't realize that my balance shaft belt had broke 4 days earlier. Vibrating like you wouldn't believe. It got caught under my timing belt right after installing a oil pressure gauge; it said I had no oil pressure. Anyways, I got it back together, 5 BTDC. I put it back together last Fri. and since then it has only been pushing about 7 or 8 psi. It threw a knock sensor code, so I guess thats why I'm only getting 7 psi. Any suggestions???? Thanks

Oh, and it's leaking some black gooey stuff. Does that mean it's bad?

Yes that means its bad, replace the sensor.

Will a knock sensor off a 93 non turbo eclispe work. There's one at a junk yard down the road for $15? Thanks

I have no idea if that sensor would work. My guess is that its different. Also dont know what the goo is. I would buy a new one, you dont want to skimp on something like a knock sensor. this part keeps your motor alive. On Green Performance on ebay sells OEM ones for around $60
