Ok, So lately, I've been wanting a DSM (A Talon mainly) but I have some questions about performance specs, weights, insurance, etc...

1) I REALLY would like a 95-98 Talon TSi AWD, How much are some of you paying for insurance? I'm 16 and just starting to drive, can I expect to pay upwards of $200-300 monthly? Or how much is average....

2) If I don't go with a TSi, how much slower is a regular Talon ESi? Right now I have a Neon, and if the ESi isnt fast, I'll keep the Neon...

3) Performance upgrades readily availible for Talons?

4) What talon weighs less? A 93-94 or a 97-98?

5) Do Talons handle really well? Handling is one of the MAIN reasons I'm wanting to keep my Neon, handles like its on rails...

:thumb: Thank you all for your help and time! I'm sorry if I've reposted some questions, but I figured I'd post them all in the same thread anyways.

On the flip side, I have talked to many a guy who didn't know crap about cars. Their eyes did the glazed over/I have no idea what the hell she is talking about look too. Just the other day I had to explain to a guy about fuses, a few weeks ago I had to show a diff. guy how to take a tire off/on and what a torque wrench was. I mean come on!!!

bwahahahaha.. gotta love when that happens.

What's a torque wrench? I have gotten pretty good at acting like I know a lot about cars recently. That clutch I did in the driveway, the motor swap on my PU, the countless water-pumps, cam swaps, SBC rebuilds, etc. all lend to my ability to talk well while having absolutely no hands on experience... I'll bet this will be taken the wrong way...
