I would perfer parking and waiting til one of you guys called and told us to get ready, rather than waiting in our cars running until we see hoards of dsm's, wouldn't want to start following some random person with a dsm only to find myself in oregon or something. Well I figured everyone would eat breakfast at their house or something. Then the san mateo folks would get together and start driving up to s.f. and then we would pick you p along the way. I have raul/luis/kamil number so I was going to call them when we got off 280 at 19th so they know we are comming. After we all meet up we will drive across the golden gate and stop for pics. Then head the rest of the way to the beach and eat. I would like to start out towards the beach as soon as possible so we don't get stuck behind some shmuck that thinks 20mph is blazing fast. Not to mention just like last year its 4th of July weekend and it will most likely be hot, so I am assuming lots of other people will be there taking up our damn spots and bbqs

then he would need another driver, right? Im down for meeting in richmond first. The only thing Im worried about now is if my car will hold it together. I might have to pick up some spark plug wires on friday (paychecks come thursdays) just to comfort myself some more. I was just under my car and I noticed four things I REALLY didn't like. My oil drain plug is leaking, there wasn't a puddle under it, but it was covered in oil about as much as possible without it dripping. My downpipe also had some oil on it, I have no ####ing clue how that got there though, but my oil level went down a little since my last oil change, so I dunno. It also seemed like the transfer case was a little wet, but it wasn't too bad, and also, it was over by the lower bolts that attach it to the transmission itself. There was one part that was soaking at one point but is now somewhat dry, but it looked like brake fluid, and it wasn't near the driveline itself, although I don't know how thats better.

I think I might just have to drive over to pauls on thursday, since thats the only day I have off til saturday. Maybe that will calm me down enough to make the trip with the radio on. (normally I leave it off so I can listen to my car.....)

Last time we met at my house, we went straight to Stinson (didn't meet up with people for pictures, etc)... ### that would have been a big ass zig zag to Daly City and then back up.

i can't belive this, ive been looking for bay area dsm folks for about year and i finally find a meet- in my backyard, no less. i live in mill valley so everyone will be passing through my crappy town to go to this meet.
This meet that happens to be on the same day as Brazil vs France on the wolrd cup...
My parents, sisters, freinds, girldfreind and about 100 other of my fellow brazilians are having a bbq as well to celebrate the game, on 19th ave, at noon.
And i HAVE to be at work by 5 pm.
where/when are you guys meeting on 19th ave? maybe i can just stop by and say whats up....
and... when does it start end, and anything going on after in the evening after 9pm?

But its awsome to know im not the last guy inot DSMs around here, for a while i felt like i was the only one

k, I put my motor mounts in all the way finally (the rear motor mount was off to the side so no matter how much I lifted the engine up or down, I couldn't get the bolt in, and I couldn't see why, until I got the idea to use my cell phone camera...) and I tried it again, I can tell the difference but I don't mind it at all. The spark plug wires were the cause of the misfiring, I put in my 93k mile oem spark plug wires from 1990 and it didn't miss under full boost, but I noticed something. After richening it out to try and suppress whatever was causing my car to buck like a horse (spark plug wires, I added 5%) my afrs are nice and safe now, but my idc on a 65% tps pull shot to 92% at 6k, so my next mods will be dsmlink v2 (unless they come out with version three SUPER FAST, and make me one happy mo fo) and some nice huge injectors. Then after thats said and done I'll get that sbr exhaust manifold and go back to the fuel system afterwords. Needless to say, I'm not going to making any high rpm pulls on the way to stinson.

myblack94gst, are we meeting at your house or san fran? I kinda need to know before saturday, so lets decide on something sooner rather than later.
