the down pipe looks stock but the muffler says MAGNA flow on it...so you might have a cat back? its hard to tell

Notice the weld right before the flex section and the lack of heat shields?
Looks pretty much stock, but has homebrew written all over it.

Not a 3" system, and possibly not even 2.5". But of course this is just from those photos.
Either way, the entire thing appears to be pressbent and aluminized steel... reminiscent of a midas replacement or something.

Yeah I have no idea. I know of the Magnaflow muffler but the inlet side of it looks so small like a 2 inch inlet, the downpipe looks stock. It looks weird. Should I just get a new exhaust system? I've been thinking a megan dp and custom 3" piping.

I looks like a Magnus from the muffler but I can't tell for the dp. Get that raised up and you might be able to find it out

I'm sure a muffler shop built this set up whit a magnaflow resonartor.

Man! I was in the market to get DSMlink but now I think I might have to fork over the cash for a new exhaust system! I have an AFC now, I could live off the AFC for another couple months. Maybe I will just get a Megan DP and have my sisters boyfriend make the rest, since he can weld and crap like that. This way It will be cheap!

I run an Apexi WS2, eBay DP, and flanged universal MagneFlow 3" cat. I love this set up. Sounds mean and none of that ricer crap you get from N1 style exhausts. I highly recommend you go with that. YouTube "Eclipse WS2" and have a listen. I got that paired with a FP manifold and 272/272 cams. Sounds amazing. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

Any car with full exhaust and cams will sound mean.

Take that cat out & straight pipe it. Or my favorite, right off the 3"DP gotta love that down spool sound.

Lots on magnaflow street series mufflers have a 2.25inch inlet, so I would venture a guess that that's the diameter of the system.

Yeah I wanted to run cat-less but we have strict laws against that where I live. It's a very steep fine for it. I agree that any car with cams and full exhaust will sound mean but I just love the muffler that comes with the WS2. It's not to loud which is what I was looking for. At partial throttle it has a nice low rumble and WOT just blows my mind. I love the WS2. Seriously, go to YouTube and find a video of the WS2 on an Eclipse. I'd post a link except I'm at work. Maybe I'll post a link when I get home.

I've decided that I am going to just get a MR downpipe and have a muffler shop do the rest.
