Is this j pipe facing the wrong way?

I recently bought a 16g turbo and o2 housing with everything attached (oil lines, j pipe). I was looking at my blown t25 today and then noticed the j pipe on the 16g points inwards towards the car. I have no idea how the intercooler piping would hook up to it. Am i right? If so how do i arrange it to line up properly and what not?

Looks like it fires towards the drivers side, which would be setup for a FMIC.

Are you still using the SMIC?

That J-Pipe looks like the Punishment Racing J-Pipe that I have. It's setup for a FMIC. If you still have the stock SMIC then you'll need to get a J-Pipe that will put the opening on the passenger's side of the crossmember. Then you can just put a 90* silicone coupler on it and position it so it faces the SMIC. Let me take a look in my stash of random parts... I might still have one laying around.

Blah, i was supposed to put this in tomorrow, i guess not. Theres no adapters or anything i can add to this?

I don't think i want to do that. Do you have a link to the j-pipe i need for stock smic? And do i still need a coupler? If so can i have a link to that too? Thanks.

This one would work:

ETS 95-99 2G DSM Eclipse/Talon 14b/16g J-Pipe - Modern Automotive Performance

or if you can find the one that is in this kit by itself. But , you might need the whole kit for your turbo anyway. So, this might be a good option.

Forced Performance 16G Install Kit (2G DSM) - Modern Automotive Performance

the second link j pipe looks the same as mine except i guess it has a different angle. I have the oil return and feed lines as you see in the pic.

EDIT: Looking at some pictures of the fmic j pipe installed it looks like if there was just a 90 bend on the end it would be level with the smic. You sure this isn't possible?

Ok, thanks, before i go and buy anything like that, is there any other way to do it without spending $100?

You can just hack the existing Jpipe (theres nothing wrong with that Jpipe btw) you'll prbably have to buy a few extra couplers like a 90* one and stuff, be creative. At that point you may already be at the $100 point. Just go out and buy the Dejon piece man.

I have a stock j-pipe on mine right now just buy some couplers and pipe and it'll work. I wouldnt hack that one up. sell it. I am looking for one now and its a pita to find one. so I'm in your shoes I have a perfectly good fmic but cant install due to not haveing the correct j-pipe. but then again when I get this 2.4 done I'll be switching over to the 50trim and it will be obsolite so I'll just live with smic for now.
