I bought a autometer egt gauge in the c2 series. When i received it the needle was on 200 degrees not on 0 should i send it back? Sorry i know this is ###### a stupid question.

If you bought it new from autometer it is still under warranty so yes send it back. They will fix it and return it to you. Their warranty policy is in the literature that comes with the gauge. It fully explains the process for repairs. Good luck.

this is normal. that how mine came to me. it is an electric gauge so when you hook it up you should be good.

Actually I am looking at it right now its on 100 degrees not 200. Thanks for the quick replies guys ill hook it up and hopefully it zeros out.

The egt guage will sometimes get stuck depending on when power was pulled from it. If it doesn't zero out when powered up then something's wrong.
