I'm new to dsm and just purchased a Talon Tsi 2g.
I bought the car with the following.

Rebuilt head.
Stock injectors.
Stock 14b turbo ported.
Ported stock manifold.
Recycling BOV.
Manual boost controller
3inch apexi exhaust (no cats)
Greddy Fmic kit.
Walboro 190 fuel pump.
2600 act clutch kit.
Lighten 7lb flywheel.

I bought the following.( Not installed yet)
Ecmlink v3.
PTE 680cc injectors.
Evo316g oem.
Innovate digital wideband.
Innovate digital boost gauge.
HDi electronic Boost controller.

Just needed some info if I'm in the right direction with the car. Any other things I may need. Thanks

We would be happy to put together a fueling setup for you if you'd like!

Recent update its winter so nothing had been installed LOL I just picked up a set of
272 hks cams
T3/T4 57 trim
FP manifold
And still have the above listed
I'm looking for 400hp possible with 20psi?

The 272's would be a good upgrade. I'd highly recommend upgraded springs/retainers along with adjustable cam gears. HKS cams are considered less aggressive so you might get away with using stock springs. Adjustable cam gears are also "optional", but still very good to have since most cams need some adjustment right out of the box. The FP Race manifold is also a good upgrade.

As for the T3/T4 turbo, it really doesn't fit into your current setup. Not to say it's too big, with a rewired 190lph and 680's you have enough fuel to safely support 400hp at over 25psi. A higher flowing fuel system really isn't necessary either. At most I would suggest a filter-to-rail kit with a new OEM filter. However, the problem is that turbo has a T3 turbine housing. If I'm not mistaken, BEP once made a bolt-on housing for it but who knows if you can get one anymore. The T3 housing won't work with your current manifold or O2 housing. A quality T3 setup could get very pricey and you'll still just have a 400-450whp turbo. Today there are much better options for less.

I would seriously suggest sticking to the Evo3 16g plan. Once you get some experience tuning and wrenching, then move on to something bigger. But for now you have a very capable and fun street turbo to learn with.

I was leaning to use the 16g to get my feet wet a little before I went to something bigger. Very helpful because its true I still need to understand the concept of tuning with LinkV3.

Sounds like a good plan! I've just seen many new players get a little power crazy and it usually doesn't end well. :(

When it comes to deciding fuel upgrades, this thread is golden:

When deciding on injectors for E85, the bottom chart on here will help you out:

Just remember lbs/min multiplied by 10 gives you a rough estimate of crank horsepower. So 45 lbs/min means 450hp crank or 400hp at the wheels. It's just an estimate, but it's a nice rule of thumb for choosing a fuel setup.

Looking good. I always suggest buying atleast 1600cc injectors(usually thats good for most people even when they decide to switch to eth). The Fp mani, as stated above, wont work with your t3 turbo. Youll need a t3 manifold, some custom exhaust fabrication most likely and an external wastegate. But you can worry bout that later, the 16g setup you have is nice as is.
