is this a 2g or an evo III manifold?

bought this manifold on ebay. the guy said it is from his 2004 evo but i cant tell. i allready have it so i will be using it either way.

looks like an EVO manifold. im not positive. heres a picture of my 2g and the collector appears to be bigger on yours. how are the runners/collector compared to the one off your car? have you done a side by side comparison?

my car is a 1g. the stock mani is wimpy and cracked in comparison to this one

I am pretty sure that the 2004 evos have a split manifold to match the split style turbo it has. It might be from an EVO III because the outlet looks a bit bigger than a 2g manifold.

that is a EVO III im pretty possitive because on the 2g there is a small lip on the compressor housing connection. and the baffle is bigger on the picture one.

is there any identifying marks or numbers to tell them apart?

There’s no way that’s an evo 8 manifold, there is a bolt in the middle to holt the heat shield on for the evo 8, that may be a 2g or evo3. The evo has a 10.5cm housing too.
