yea but I just picked up a wideband today and I dk what to do from there. as in get the wideband going with dsm link and stuff. first time running this program. I always used a safc and a a/f gauge

Have you even done any searching on how to wire up the LC-1 and log it in DSMlink? I have posted this info MANY times. Look at the LC-1 documentation and search on here for LC-1 and let me know if you have any issues.

Where does what pull a signal from?

For the LM-1, you have to install the wideband sensor in your exhaust. If you have a cat, it should be before this to keep readings accurate.

Then you hook it up and you'll have to wire an analog output cable to your ECU (the 1g's only have 1 open port, unless you're using a MAF-T which you are). You can search wiki.dsmlink.com for the ECU pinout and list of available input ports.

can I replace the o2 bung with the wideband or should I have both?

You can replace the front o2 sensor with the wideband, but know that you'll have to simulate the narrowband (not sure if the LM-1 can do that) as well as it has the tendency to die a bit faster being that close to the turbo.
