Is there a certain type?

Okay I plan on building a box is there a certain type of wood i need and do i just use nails and real strong wood glue to hold it together?

I would recomend using 3/4" mdf(medium desity fiberboard), screws, and liquid nails. All of this can be purchased at home depot. Is it going to be a sealed box or ported? If it is sealed, you need to make sure to seal all the joints good.

click this link a scroll down a little im gonna try to build it like this but i was wanting to take and make a different little box towards the top ofr the amp to lay flat and put plexiglass (sp) over it

That is Chris who owns that box and car. He works at a local audio shop and does this for a living. I would just pm him and ask his opinion. Im sure he built his from mdf also.
