Is my ECU fried??

Well the other night we had a DSM meet and we all rolled out to where everyone meets with their cars to run them and what not. Anyways my cars Rpm's gauge started acting up by bouncing all over the place and my car was running terrible. Today I took out the ecu and found this. I assume this ECU is gone.

Common leaky caps. You want to clean it quickly before the electrolytes screw up the traces. Personally I would send it to ECMTuning and they will go over it, clean it and socket it for cheap for future tuning. Provided they find that the ECU is still fine.

is that an eprom? If not dont waste your money rebuilding that one and get one.

Definitely going to need a rebuild I used DSM (Talon Eclipse Laser) and 3S (3000GT and Stealth) ECU Service and Repair before did good work!

deep fried , its got a leak i had my with the same prob, it cost me 60$ to get it fixed by Modern Automotive Performance, its great now tho/

save it quick! That's an eprom ECU right there! It's an endangered species!

Yes, it's and EPROM ECU and it doesn't look too far gone yet.
