420A Is DC Sports a good company for performance on the 420a?

I've been looking to upgrade the performance of my 98 Eclipse GS. I don't have the skills to do any engine swapping and turbo is currently out of my range. I've been looking at DC headers and exhaust systems and wanted to know if they're any good. Any information will be helpful whether positive or negative.

Better off just doing an ebay header if you really want to change the exhaust. Its not really worth the money for the dc header as the power gains are minimal.

Are ebay parts reliable? Because I love the lower prices, but I don't know if I can trust the quality, that's all.

I have an ebay header and catback. From the speeddaddy company on ebay, about $165 total. Ive had it on since last august and its held up very well, hasn't rusted through anywhere even after the new jersey winter. Its got a good deep tone too, some slight rasp above 3k when cold but when its warm it pretty much goes away. It did take some slight rigging to mount it as the hangers that come on it dont really make any sense. I mounted it with some improvising just fine.

I had an ebay header/exhaust on my 420a for about a year before going turbo. Even heat wrapped the header. It worked just fine...no cracking at all.

Of course results vary, but when you can buy 2-3 cheap headers for the price of 1 "good" one, I prefer to take my chances.

Something to consider though, most ebay headers are 4-1 which supposedly results in better top-end flow. Higher quality headers are often 4-2-1, which will result in more mid-range power.

Yeah exactly, If you ever plan to go turbo in the future you'll obviously just be throwing it away. Id rather throw away the 60 buck header than the $300+ dc header.

I like megan racing, I bought just a downpipe and welded a 1 foot section of stainless steel pipe and put a straight through 3" muffler on it. It sounded godly wasn't screaming loud like running an open downpipe. But yea I prefer megan racing.
