is 91 too low?

i use 92 in my modded gst SOMETIMES only if i have to. On a turbo GS i would strongly advise against using anything lower than 92 because your car isnt even built for a turbo to begin with. you prolly get a shitload of knock as it is let alone usin lower octane

i dunno what you guys have around there, but most places here have 87, 89, and 93. i would go with the 93 if i were you. thats what hahn recomends :thumb:

Well out here on the west coast it runs 87, 89, 91. I think it should run decent. Just not as well compared to a car running on 93. If you wanted you could just buy octaboost from like schuck's for when you go to the track or just buy race gas.

91 octane is the min. octane recommended, I'm sure it is fine for a turbo'd DSM. I don't know about turbo'd n/t DSMs though. 91 Octane is about the only thing around here unless I drive about 60 miles out of my way to get 93.

damn geuss im lucky.....gas prices are out of this world here in ohio right now but i use 94octane only and its 2.42 a gallon at sunoco. 93 is like 231 a galon. But since i geuss im running lean as it is high octane is better at the moment

Here in suburbia, IL we've been used to $2.50 a gallon for the better part of a month. I know that the gas station a block down from where I live is $2.61 for 93. I've stopped driving my Talon 'cause the prices are rediculous. I've heard from friends in WI that the prices are like $2.20 for 91, but I'm not going to drive 50+ miles north for lower prices. Besides, I think I have an 1/8 of a tank. :(
