Invader hood on a turbo car?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm new to the eclipse world. I was wondering if the invader hood would fit on a turboed 1g. i wasn't sure if the cam gears would be in the way.

Someone shoudl tell us the answer to both because I want an invader hood but only seen them on a few turbos

It hit the timing belt cover on 2G turbo's. Remove the cover if you want to use the hood. I can't answer the 1G question.

You could contact VIS, they will give you a definite answer. I have seen it on many turbo 2G's, and have not heard of any clearance issues.

also be aware that the 1G had 3 engines...
one of which being a 2.0 non turbo.
So if it's advertised to clear them... it can clear a turbo... and if not, it would have a disclaimer pointing that out...
Or am I the only one that looks for fine print...

yes the invader hood works on a 1G turbo, atleast mine from vis does

of course the 2.0 non turbo 1g engine is basically the same engine without a turbo (internals wont affect hood fitment). So if it fits a nt 1g, it will fit the turbo just the same since there is no difference in fitment. Yes, it will fit 1g turbo.
