hey guys whats up i just was installing my head unit and when i did so the interior cluster lights stoped working as well as the parking lights and my tail lights i checked the fuses and replaced them with new ones and still got nothing any ideas??

Plug in harness? or did you splice it together? sounds like you shorted something out relay/fuse problem.

You either: spliced into a wrong wire, have a shortage, or the radio is using too much power.

You didn't tie into the black-yellow wire that also goes to the dash light dimmer did you? :nono:

is this a bad wire to splice into? im trying to diagnose a interior lighting problem right now.. and someone wired up a boost gauge, and spliced to the black/yellow wire under the hvac..

long story short. i got the car and theres no interior lights.

If it's the one that also goes to the dash dimmer it will be. This is a control wire - not a supply wire. It's voltage varies with dimmer position but if something else is connected there, that would mess up the voltage for the dimmer as well as the device connected.
