vancouver,
Hi,
I was just wondering how intake should look like when installed. Because my friend said mine isn't probably installed. The part where my filter attach to the pipe is connected by a rubber cylinder thing. Rubber wrapped around the outside of the metal pipe shaped like a cone and rubber going into the air filter.
My friend said the rubber SHOULDN'T go INTO the filter, that way dust might go in. He even showed me how lose the rubber is when pushed in, I can see inside the air filter.
Is it possible for the rubber to wrap around the OUTSIDE of the air filter and then clamp it? I don't wanna try cause I'm still a newbie, and afraid to operator anything with this knowledge.
Also, what is that thing connecting the pipe and the filter in that picture? I want it.
