Ok so im installing some low beam bulbs on my 97 eclipse, its sort of tuff install because of the small space i have around the bulb. Now i installed the new bulb and im having problem locking the bulb in place,i see a clip but what should i do? i kept twisting the the bulb socket so it will stay in place but its not.If anyone can explain to me how to set it in place that would be helpful.

can't find a good pic online anywhere, this is the best i could find for you; it's not a DSM but the concept is the same:

First you need to swing the retaining clip up and out of the way. Then insert the bulb so it lines up correctly in the housing-- the bulb has tabs on it that will only fit into the housing one way. Once you have the bulb set properly in the headlight swing the retaining clip back down and lock it into the little tab.

Hope that helps.

Also-- Don't make multiple THREADSabout the same topic; it clutters the board and makes it hard for you to get answers in one place.

You need to press down on the spring clip and catch it under the 'tooth'. I just did mine and they are tough to get in.

For something so simple, that little tab can be a major PITA sometimes since there is little clearance in that area. When i did my HID install the driver side one pissed me off to the point i had to crack a beer and have a smoke.
