I installed a Walbro 190 fuel pump and the gauge on the dash is on empty. But I have gas. It was working before the install. I guess I jacked up something?

What is there to plug in? Just the 4 wire plug harness by the cover, but that also carries the power to the pump. Sounds like you bent the shit out of the wire sending unit when you re-installed it.

wow, who the hell got onto my screen name? looks like im goin to have to sign off from whereever im signed on at. ill delete that. LOL. :thumb:

Should I check the wires on the out side of the pump(panel w/the six nuts)? Should check the float arm? I had to take it out a few times because when I installed it it didn't start and had to recheck things. The walbo had a install kit all you do is plug in the harness into the top of the pump, the red wire goes to the top of the bracket and the black goes in the back screwed into the back of the bracket behind the pump.

same thing happen to me when when i installed my 190lph, but mine was so screwed up i had to purchase a new fuel pump assembly........ good luck

yeah it sounds like you bent some ish! a buddy of mine did the same thing on his 2g and it was all crazy and erratic.

Yeah, the wiring is pretty hard to screw up considering it consist of a harness with two wires coming out of it. The only other thing I can think of is your guage is messed up somehow, that is if the float isn't bent or stuck or something.

mine wont read below a quarter tank.... but im not takin that shit apart again just to fix that...PITA.

mine was stuck and all i did was take the plastic ring around the pump and loosen it then twist the pump counterclockwise a little and make sure that it doesnt twist back when you tighten the plasic ring back down. problem fixed :thumb:
