i have just recently installed a walbro fuel pump 255 lph hp, ss fuel lines from filter to rail, and rail to afpr, and an safc blue screen. when i first hooked everything up, it seemed to be absolutely drowning my engine. it was really bogging and would barely run, and start buckin under any type of acceleration. i had my fuel pressure set to 38psi base. to get the car to run, i had to lower the fuel pressure to 20psi base! this is all on stock 450cc injectors by the way and running 13psi of boost on the stock 14b. my o2's are around .79v, which my car is seeming to like because i'm gettting good timing advance and low knock. also, my car is very hard to start after it has been warmed up, it does start ok when it has been sitting for awhile. also, i have fps disconnected as well as all the other emissions crap. my safc settings at idle are now set at +20. sorry, for such a long post, but i wanted to present all the necessary information. my question is this....is it normal for the fuel pressure to be so low? any ideas on what could be causing this? thanks in advance.
