installed act 2100 and light flywheel and...

after install of act 2100 and new lighter flywheel i got my car from shop today and noticed the bite on the clutch is way improved in fact its too good and i was wondering if this is normal?

There is about a millimeter from no clutch to fully engaged clutch, been driving manuals for over a decade and until today i haven't killed one going into first since my first one.

So is this normal ? does the clutch need to seat and then it will calm down some?

most performance clutch`s are like that they engage all at once not much room for error but 1mm doesnt sount rite it will get slightly better after a couple weeks when the clutch breaks in

Break the clutch in and it should be easier to slip. Is this a pucked disk or street disk?

Clutch engagement will improve dramatically after break-in. My ACT2600 clutch was so bad it was unbelievable. Now after break-in I barely notice it.
