injectors!!! help!!

ok my car is a 91 talon tsi..i recently put an ecu and a CAS in the car..it has spark and fuel is flowing through the injector rail but the car wont start..it only starts and runs when you spray fuel into the throttle body..it will run all day like that but i cant seem to get the injectors to work..this is the second set of injectors i have installed and it still wont work..whats the deal? is there a relay or something that controls them? any help is greatly appreciated

That could be a relay, but I would look toward your ECU since you swapped a new/different one in the car. The injectors arent being recognized by the ECU. You can try resetting the ECU while everything is in and where it is supposed to be.

Hey man, I found a couple things. Hope these can help you out. Per the writeup by femmeDSM "If your injector's aren't firing, try swapping out your Injector Resistor Pack with a known good unit. These don't usually go bad, but when they do, they'll keep the injectors from firing. The ECU may also be at fault here, or the wiring to the injectors may be damaged."

most likey the problem wiht your ecu not recongnizing the injectors.. make sure you or whoever is working on the car knows the program and how to manipulate it

where can i have the ecu reset at? the ecu is from a 91 fwd turbo...mines same yr but awd thats the only difference.. and also when i put a test light to the injector harness the light stayed solid..even when i was cranking the motor over it was solid..

You should have 12 volts on one side of your injectors while in koeo. Key on engine off.

Using your handy test light I know you have, hook it to the positive cable of your battery and check the other injector wire. Crank the engine over and see if it flickers. If it does anything but flicker then you have likely lost your injector drive circuit and that my friend is the PCM.

By the way, have someone crank while you look. That is not a one man job.

and if it flickers that means the pulse is ok right??.. whatelse could be wrong? because i know if it flickers then they are getting a correct pulse..and if it dont then the ECU is crap???

when i put the CAS in is it possible that it is 180 degrees out? would that cause the injectors not to work right or fire?
