I was doing some research on where to tap the vaccuum line for the boost gauge i got and i tapped it into the FPR vaccuum line from the manifold side nipple. It seems to give inaccurate readings...at least to my knowledge. It tells me sometimes i getting 24hg of vaccuum at idle?? and 30hg (actually more because the gauge only goes to 30hg of vaccuum and its pass that upon deceleration) of vaccuum upon motor deceleration??? i know i dont have perfect vaccuum pressure because i have a few boost leaks when i tested em ealier today. Besides, in my last GSX, i had always had a target -22hg of vaccuum under load and -17hg at idle. I havent started to boost yet because i have a broken nipple on my wga and im waiting for the new one to come in. I bought these gauges on ebay (need i say more?) and they're called GlowShift. My voltage gauge is accurate. But im not so sure about my oil pressure gauge. It reads 0 at idle (which is above the red readings) and it reads about 55-60 while driving?? I installed it with a 90* fitting(to clear the floor just in case i hit something) on the OFH where the turbo feed line used to be. Im not sure if its the cheap gauges or if its something i need to look further into. But i did some research on the accuracy of the gauges and i see good reviews? FML :ohdamn:

I dont think the gauge is to blame unless you got a faulty one as there is alot of people who use the glowshift gauges.Heck I'm using a ebau gauge that was $20 and it is as acurate as my autometer LOL. Try tapping into the the line with the green stripe (the "p" line) that goes into your throttle body, its another place you can trap for a reading and it is pretty acurate also.

Found out I had a disconnected vacuum line. I gotta check to see if that was the problem. Ill check later today.

EDIT: drove the car around the block again....fixing the vacuum line didnt solve the problem. I Still have ALOT of vacuum pressure. And according to my boost gauge, im spiking all the way to 28psi?? NO WAY!! Anyone happen to have the vacuum diagram for a 2ga?? I dont think i put it backwards, but is it possible i hooked the factory bcs backwards? Still doesnt resolve my high vacuum issue. Anyone else maxing out at -31 or -32hg of vacuum? Or getting -24hg of idle vacuum??

MORE EDIT: found more hidden ghetto sh*t that the previous owner did. ::sigh:: I guess he figured since he was out of vacuum line he could electrical tape two pieces of vacuum lines together and it would be good to go! OMFG!! And the worst part?? He covered it good so you couldnt see it. He covering it with the factory cushioning that covers the vacuum lines at the fpr!! Wow.....Thats all i got to say. Tommorow i'll drive it around and see if that fixed that problem. I still havent gotten my 3" to stock exhaust adapter yet so im running strait pipe through my 3" downpipe. Lets just say its loud as f*ck..... FML
