Ok, looked around at what this side had regarding this and really found nothing, and what I did find had no pics whatsoever and had a vague discription of what was going on. Well what I want to do is replace my stock indash oil press. and coolant temp gauge with after market ones so Ican get exact readings and numbers. Is there enough room on the back side w/o having to cut the curcuit board and fix stuff. And the wholes look to be about 2" or so so it should be an easy fit for an aftermarket one I would think? What is your guys' thoughts, experiences on this? And if someone knows of a write up or pics I would appreciate it.

I have seen ppl do 1g installs like that idk about 2g. Have never seen one there are pics of a 1g done like that on here. I belive the thread name is, cluster ownage. I'm on my phone so I can't give u a link but search that.

DSM!

you should definitely take some pics if you do this. this was something I was interested in as well.

I plan to do the exact same thing here in about two weeks. I'm going to replace the oil pressure and water temperature OEM gauges with the Glowshift blue digital gauges.

I did my oil pressure with a digital gauge from glowshift and it looks really good. There is a small amount of trimming needed in order to get it to fit right but there was no modifications to the circuit board or the white backing needed. If you get an electronic gauge the wires fit right through the old bolt holes where the oem gauge used to be.

Sweet! I plan to knock this out over the winter as I'll have nothing else to do. :thumb:

Thanks, does help, it seems so easy to do I might as well just venture and dive in. I hopefully will be able to do this soon, waitin on my check now.
