In an effort to get the local Anchorage forum used more, I'm asking if you are up here in AK please start using the new local forum.
We only have 2 threads at this point and know that there is more DSMers up here than that!!
I just would hate to see the forum gone because no one use's it!

I would like to get as many DSM's together this summer as possible!!
So get on here post some stuff and participate!!:p
 
I think if we get the word out it will help. I know that the Alaska chapter of NASIOC is pretty busy they even have vendors in the local classifieds and they have meets all the time. I think it would be cool to get something like that for us DSM guys. Oh and nemizis, thanks again for those wheels and tires. I didn't notice that one was bent but it was only $25 to get it fixed. does anyone here have a vinyl cutter or know someone who does? We could get some stickers made (similar to the AKIC stickers but for DSM's) with the dsmtuners URL underneath.

EDIT: or maybe we could set it up with sticky vinyl graphics (where the DSMtuners vinyls are made) but I would personally prefer to support a local business. Well have to talk to one of the mods or the site admin about using the URL, although I can't Imagine them not wanting the name out there.

Also I think there is some spots in town, that will make stickers.

I didn't think about mentioning that dent in the rim, because it didn't leak I just ignored it.

I know you can buy dsmtuners stickers on the site I was thinking more along the lines of alaska specific sticker that has the website t get more traffic to the anchorage forum.

The rim wasn't holding air for more than 24 hours, but like I said it doesn't matter I should have looked better. My fault not yours.
 
If you have high performance summer tires on your ride instead of all seasons, you have to change out for winter tires. I drive a GSX and I can't make it out of my driveway on my summer tires/rims. I have to switch over to my ghetto stock 1Ga rims and studded snow tires to get any traction. Even then, they don't do good at all...get into boost at all on a 48 trim and you're spinning...but I think i spun all my studs out of my tires. 25psi and studs and a lot of spinning in 2nd and 3rd gear don't really mix too well.
 
Yeah it's thawing a bit, I washed my car earlier and then it warmed up so it's gettng dirty already. I can't wait till summer

It was for sure thawing outside today. The roads were wet and I fnally got out to the highway to do some tuning without worries of hitting ice.

So what do they look like exactly? I'm assuming to bought one...
How much and what size are they?
 
I'm in the process of getting 20 stickers made, I am waiting on an email back.
I found a local guy on craigslist that I think will get them made for us.

My car won't come out until the snow is gone. :)
I just really don't like mud and snow stuck on my primer paint.
I feel like it is going to make it super rust or something.

That's cool I'm glad i got ride back on the road now i just need some nice dry roads then i can tune it & up the boost because right now I'm only running 15psi of boost but no complaints.

Ok, still no updates on the stickers the guy I was e-mailing obviously is BSing.
So, when I get paid on the 1st, I'm going to go down to the spot at the mall and get them made.
I was just going to get black and white ones made.
I will let y'all know when they are done and everything!
 
Check the price on the 3 layer vinyl (mitsubishi one layer, chrysler another and eagle the 3rd) so it looks like that pic you have, if they aren't crazy expensive I can help you with the cost, maybe start with 10 instead of 20. Just pm Me or if you still have my number hit me up.
